RadianceAwardsEver wanted you or your company to be recognized but felt like you were too small, in between or you didn’t fit into an award category? Ever wanted to be part of recognizing someone in your chapter but never had the chance?

Apply for Florida’s most prestigious awards, the PRSA Sunshine District Radiance Awards which recognize outstanding strategic public relations programs.  Whether you’re an independent practitioner or a corporate agency, the Radiance Awards give each submission an independent review and base judging on your campaign success and value it has brought to the public relations profession today.

Apply by filling out the Radiance Awards Entry Form.

Entry Fees

PRSA Member: $50 per Program/Product entry

Non-Member: $75 per Program/Product entry

Individual Awards: Free

Program Awards

The program categories honor outstanding achievement in comprehensive public relations programs. A comprehensive public relations program can include a number of items listed in the product categories as well as other supplemental materials.

Product Awards

The product category honors outstanding achievement in public relations products. A public relations product typically refers to a single-item entry, though not exclusively, that is oriented to a single issue.

Individual Awards

Best of Sunshine Award

The recipient of this award is selected by the judges among the year’s Radiance Award winners from the programs categories. The Best of Sunshine Award represents the pinnacle of excellence in public relations programming in Florida.

Sunshine Trailblazer Award

The award honors a Florida PRSA leader who represented the best in public relations in 2013. This individual has a demonstrated history of advancing the profession. The nomination is submitted by the individual’s peers. To submit a nomination, write a one-page letter demonstrating why the recipient deserves the award and email it to awards@prsasunshine.com.

Rising Light Award

The award honors a Florida PRSSA member who demonstrated commitment to the public relations profession in 2013. The recipient receives a $250 tuition or professional development scholarship. The nomination is submitted by the individual’s peers or educators. To submit a nomination, write a one-page letter demonstrating why the recipient deserves the award and email it to awards@prsasunshine.com.

PRSA’s Sunshine District represents 1,000 public relations professionals from seven chapters throughout Florida. The Sunshine District is one of 10 PRSA districts nationwide and provides educational resources, scholarships, and professional development opportunities for the industry’s leading professionals.

Its members represent many facets of public relations, including corporate communications, technology, public affairs, financial communications, healthcare, nonprofit, education, travel and tourism, government, technology and international public relations.
