March 19, 2012

The PRSA Nominating Committee has initiated the nominating process for selecting its 2013 PRSA national officers and board of directors, and your help is needed to identify the best candidates to serve in these positions!

This year there are nine positions to fill — three national board officer positions and six board of directors positions.

Available national board officer positions:

  • Chair and CEO-Elect (1-year term)
  • Treasurer (1-year term)
  • Secretary (1-year term)

Available board of directors positions:

  • Director, East Central District (2-year term)
  • Director, Mid-Atlantic District (2-year term)
  • Director, Northeast District (2-year term)
  • Director, Tri-State District (2-year term)
  • Director, Western District (- year term)
  • Director, At-Large (2-year term)

No one needs to be told the importance of having strong leadership which can provide strategic direction, insight into the current and future state of the profession and add value in a membership organization. PRSA members are strongly encouraged to nominate candidates that can best serve the organization, its members and the profession; opportunities are open to all interested, qualified and eligible candidates. The submission deadline for applications is Monday, June 11, 2012.
