Get a “QuickStart” in August!
Leadership in PRSA has proven to help public relations professionals develop meaningful relationships with other professionals that can provide opportunities for career advancement and professional development. Chapter leadership also opens the door for statewide and national leadership opportunities.
If you’re interested in serving the Tampa Bay Chapter in a leadership capacity, you’re encouraged to attend the Sunshine District QuickStart Conference, August 10 & 11, 2012 in Orlando. The Sunshine District reception begins on Friday evening, August 10, and the QuickStart conference runs 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 11.
This conference provides tools and advice for members who are new leaders currently serving the chapter or for those members who are considering leadership positions, such as committee chair, board member or officer.
The Sunshine District is offering scholarships for Tampa Bay Chapter members who are considering chapter leadership. QuickStart will pay for the conference registration fee; transportation and hotel costs (if any) are the responsibility of the attendee.
To be considered, please submit a QuickStart 2012 scholarship application by Wednesday, July 25. A selection committee will choose the scholarship recipients by Friday, July 27.
